Here are two weeks' worth of sunrises seen from the beach at our Kelleys Island rental house. After a couple of days I learned to fill the coffeemaker the night before and stumble into the kitchen around 5:30 to turn it on so I could greet the dawn at 5:55 with a fresh cup of coffee. I usually sat on the beach until my cup was empty, then went back to bed for another hour or so.
Now, back home in Cleveland I'm sleeping well past sunrise, and the weather has been cool and rainy for the past couple of days. Once again we lucked out with great weather during our KI stay.
