First day of Spring, Edgewater Park
The sunshine and blue sky on this first day of Spring made the view north over ice-covered Lake Erie breathtaking. I walked about four miles before going to work today, a great way to start the day (although it actually started a couple hours earlier with a visit to the dentist).
As I cropped the photo it reminded me of the Georgia O'Keefe painting Sky Above Clouds IV that I've admired at the Art Institute of Chicago. In my mind's eye the O'Keefe clouds were at the top of the painting, but actually she was inspired the what she saw on her first plane trip where the sky was, in fact, above the clouds.
