Sort of like Winky Dink, this commercial from the '70s brought back another piece of my past.
Long before Dairy Mart and Convenient came to town, Cleveland had Lawson's.
You'd stop there for bread, milk and of course orange juice in a glass bottle.
The most surprising part of this story that I learned via Wikipedia is that in the 70s Lawson's began opening stores in Japan.
And, while it's long gone from Ohio, Lawson's still is the number 2 convenience store chain in Japan.
