Life goes on
A phone call changed my plans as I drove to work: Mom had been taken to Southwest General Hospital with a stroke.
Long story short, it was a TIA, sometimes called a mini-stroke. She recovered quickly and completely. Miraculous, you might say.
I shot this video in the ER as she slept, feeling guilty about making public this private moment.
