Garden update

Cauliflower seedlings in the groundMore planting today. Got in all of the eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers and herbs. Still have a few pepper plants to do.

Here's my newest experiment: a little cluster of colored cauliflower, like the stuff that blew me away at the Portland Farmers' Market two years ago.

Part of the reason my planting goes slowly is that I'm trying to cluster plants in a way that seems right, rather than simply putting them in rows.

This vague and fuzzy approach to planting isn't efficient and is based on very little knowlege and a lot of guesswork, but you know what? It's my garden and I'll plant it the way I want.
