The fresh, locally grown turkey cooked faster than our usual grocery store bird, so it was ready long before the family arrived.
No problem. Joanne & I poured another glass of wine each and continued working on side dishes.
When Danny, Misty and the grandkids arrived after their visit with (great) grandma, we all sat down to a modest but delicious feast.
