Online storytelling tools

Here's one, not all that useful but fun.

Click the arrow to play a video I made in a few minutes using the Blabberize website, one of a list of 50+ web storytelling tools put together by a guy named Alan Levine.

A quick email confirmed that, yes, this was the same Alan Levine who ran DirectorWeb for many years, an invaluable resource back in those prehistoric days when Macromedia (now Adobe) Director ruled the world of interactive media.

Meanwhile, back in the present Levine has gathered a great collection of online resources to create slideshows, timelines, collages, audio and video stories at his website 50+ Web 2.0 Ways To Tell a Story.

If you're a teacher who wants to get students started telling stories using the computer but don't want to spend a lot of money on hardware, software and training, Levine's list is the place to start. Highly recommended.
