Blended learning
The Adobe website has information on online and "blended learning." This is what I'm doing for the first time this semester with our hybrid Web Publishing I class. It meets once a week in a classroom and everything else is done online. We're approaching midterm break (next week) and I hope to have a chance to survey the students to get their feedback on how it's going.
I need to learn more, but frankly am not a huge fan of online learning myself. I started listening to/watching one of these online seminars and got impatient with it and quit. Maybe another day.
