If you go to only one museum while in London then it must be the British Museum. Filled with the most amazing artifacts and exhibits, the British Museum is an incredible place to take in world history.
This museum deserves your time and attention, so your visit should last the entire day. This is not a place you want to run through quickly. Slow down and see all you can. Visit every exhibit and don't rush. Trust me, this place is amazing.
The other museum I'm going to recommend is the London Science Museum. I love science museums. The best part of the London Science Museum for my brother an I was that most of the space exploration exhibits were about NASA and American programs. Lots of fun and education to be had by all.
