In November of 2008 my family and I went on holiday in London, England and had an amazing time. The experience made me very nervous, since I had never been that far from home before, and very excited. I was aware of many aspects of British culture before I went, but experiencing it for myself was an absolute joy. England combined the familiarity of western culture with the unfamiliar aspects of a still different society.
This site is designed to give you ideas on what you might want to do if you ever find yourself in or around London. This is by no means the most comprehensive list ever put together, but instead reflects the personal experience I had while on vacation for a week and contains recommendations based on what I did while on this momentous trip.
