Getting a job

Ideastream spoke with my Portfolio Preparation class tonight,
he shared a lot of ideas about what it takes to be a success in television.
Most interesting to me is that the other things he looks for in a potential employee apply to finding a job in any field: ability to work well on a team, good work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
He also talked a lot about storytelling, something we've been hammering away at with our students for years now. It's all about storytelling, not just developing your technical chops.

When I checked Design Observer today (the only blog I visit regularly) it was interesting to see a link to what they describe as "amazing" graffiti work by a guy named Deuce Seven in NYC.
