PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project should change your life! (maybe in only a small way, but still...) Look for inspiration in the world around you, in a place you haven't looked before. Go somewhere, do something, pay attention, absorb it all.

Choose something that sounds interesting and fun to do, something that you're interested in but haven't done before. Try to push yourself, explore your boundaries, take a chance on something that you ordinarily wouldn't.

Step 1: Do something you've never done before; do it for at least one hour.

Step 2: Afterwards, think about your experience, both good and the bad aspects of it. What did you enjoy the most? Why? What surprised you? What inspired you? What didn't you enjoy? Why? Would you do it again? Would you recommend it to others?

Step 3: Report on your experience: write a one-page report and prepare a 3-minute verbal presentation for class. You must have 3-6 visual pieces as part of your report. These can be photos you took while doing it; sketches you made during/after; literature, schedules, etc. from the place visited; objects you found, etc. In addition, other media would be great (audio, etc.)
