ABOUT THE TIMELINE TRAVEL PROJECT

College students learn and use basic HTML and CSS coding

THIS WEBSITE, a portion of the Timeline Travel: Art, Culture & Technology — 1811-1890 website, has been created by Paulette M. Willis.

Timeline Travel is a final, collaborative class project created by Cuyahoga Community College Visual Communications Interactive Media 1570 students under the supervision of class professor Al Wasco.

Assigned an individual 20-year time period, each student researched art movements, historic events and new technologies occurring during that particular era. Students then created a website using the information and images found in their research.

The class makeup includes those currently majoring in the Graphic Design, Interactive Media and Photography disciplines.

The pages here will focus on the years 1871-1890. Other years and websites produced by other students in the class may be located by using the scroll bar found on the left-hand side of each page in the website.
