Traveling to and staying in Findlay can be a quite
enjoyable experience once you know how to go
about it. There are many events and activities
going on throughout the year which draw people
in from out of town. A quick look at the community
calendar might be a wise choice when bookng your
stay. Summer is the busiest season because of the
pleasant weather while the winter is a little more
scarce due to the unpredictable snows and
frequent high winds, thanks to being what is
called "the flattest part of the state".

There is no public transportation except for a few taxi
services, so its best to count on renting a car or bringing
your own, which will be well worth it for exploring the
outlying communities. If you are driving in, you'll find
that getting to Findlay and getting around are quite
simple if you don't mind a few disgruntled drivers.
Not to worry because I will guide you through all of
the highways and biways to make your visit here a
   pleasant one.

As for your stay be sure to check out the wide varieties of
accomodations including campgrounds, bed and breakfasts,
and hotels that are spread thoughout the city.

Don't waste anytime. We're all waiting to see you in Findlay!

Rose Gate Cottage Bed & Breakfast

The Rose Gate Cottage Bed and Breakfast is a rose colored stucco two story home on Western Avenue built in 1899. It is a comfortable, warm and inviting Inn. Those who stay enjoy the friendly Victorian atmosphere as well as unspoiled interior which retains the original hardwood floors, trim and high ceilings.
